Cannavale Constructions provides all aspects of concrete construction including detailed excavation, concrete pumping, the placement and finishing of concrete, fixing of reinforcement steel and formwork construction, both on ground and suspended.
We offer services throughout all areas of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. We specialise in Commercial, industrial, multi-level, large scale residential construction and shopping centres. We can achieve all standards of concrete finishes including coloured and decorative finishes, granolithic finishes and top dressing. We also have plant and equipment for hire.
Our team of highly skilled and experienced trade’s people, project managers and site supervisors manage all concrete construction from beginning to completion.
We have rigorous WHS management to ensure next to no workplace injuries and or accidents. We pride ourselves in providing a safe working environment. We also ensure and maintain that all employees have current and up to date requirements. We ensure that all workmen obtain the appropriate and up to date WHS induction cards (white cards).
All of our quotations are done in house and free of charge.
The Proud History of Cannavale Constructions
The company began as Cannavale & Son Pty Ltd by Mario Cannavale in 1966. It progressed to Cannavale Constructions Pty Ltd in 1988. With Mario’s son, Alessandro taking over the reins. Throughout the transition the business continued to be keenly overseen by Mario, who still had strong ties with many of the founding builders in Newcastle.
Over the years Cannavale Constructions has worked on many of the more prominent projects undertaken in Newcastle. Namely the John Hunter Hospital Carpark, numerous buildings and carparks for the University of Newcastle, as well as the University Swimming Pool and Gymnasium, various nursing homes, apartment buildings and is currently working on the next stage of expansion to the Westfield shopping centre, Kotara.
